About Us
Wessex Metal Stock was founded in February 1988 by David Halliwell and Mervyn Squire, who still own and operate the Company.
We came from a background of nationwide multi-centre companies within the industry and believed that a smaller independent company would have much to offer. Today, nineteen years later, our views have not changed.
We have three industrial units housing a vast range of stock together with the latest machinery for cutting and finishing. Our experienced, highly knowledgeable staff use the latest in computer technology to handle enquiries skilfully and quickly.
We have plans to keep the Company at the forefront of our industry but our philosophy remains the same - FLEXIBILITY THROUGH INDEPENDENCE.
All our products are manufactured to the highest specifications and supplied under the cover of UKAS accredited ISO9001:2000.
